Because a renewal of vows is symbolic and not a legal act no legal papers or documentation are required. You can choose who performs the ceremony – it could be one of your children or friends – and you can write your own vows too. After the ceremony you’ll be given a certificate as a keepsake of your day and the renewal of your commitment to each other.
